We provide many services from hallmarking jewellery and precious metals, valuations of jewellery, watches or silverware, expert analytical testing, and gemmological services where we identify, grade, and verify diamonds, gemstone, pearls and much more.

We have around 100 employees and we are located in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham which is the industry hub to more than 100 retailers in the jewellery industry.

**Main duties and responsibilities of the role**:

- Support with key holding, opening, and securing the building
- ADHOC
- Operation of security systems to include CCTV, intruder system and access control
- Carry out security system integrity checks
- Completing ‘airport style’ security searches to comply with company procedure
- Support with deliveries using company vehicle
- ADHOC
- Receiving courier deliveries through goods-in and despatching through goods-out
- Call handling - assisting customers with enquiries regarding their items
- Ordering of consumables and stock taking of consumables
- Integrating with all departments of the business

**Person Specification**:

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Can demonstrate proactive and reactive methods of working
- Must have experience of using Microsoft suite packages e.g., word, excel and PowerPoint
- Must have full UK driving licence.
- Must be driven.
- Must demonstrate an integral, professional, and vigilant attitude always.
- Must be flexible and be able to adapt to change.

**Desirable**
- Previous administration experience
- The role will be 37 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am - 8pm. You may be asked to work additional hours during busy periods._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
