Working both nationally and internationally, just recently the team has been lucky enough to travel to Australia, The Cayman Islands and Monaco. We operate with a hands-on management approach from design through to completion we ensure quality and creativity are at the heart of every project. Due to the nature of our work, we would be looking for a team player that has a flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads, this on occasions will require nights out, but advance notice will always be given.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, creative, enthusiastic bench joiner/installer that takes pride in their work to join our workshop team based in Brampton, Cumbria. We design and manufacture an array of items from worktops to multilevel, multi functioning play structures that span huge areas - and everything in-between

Key Tasks

Ø Measuring and marking wood/ solid surface materials according to technical designs

Ø Comprise accurate cutting lists

Ø Work from drawings to manufacture items

Ø Using a range of equipment from traditional tools to state of the art computerised cutting equipment and hi-tech drawing design and software

Ø Manufacture wooden / solid surface products in a workshop environment and occasionally on site.

Ø Assembly of products within the a workshop environment and occasionally on site.

Ø A keen eye for detail and accuracy, with ability to produce good quality work

Ø The ability to work on own initiative from technical drawings

Ø Strong attention to detail

Ø Proficient on machinery and the use of hand tools

Ø The ability to work within a team environment

Hours: Full Time, Overtime available

**Salary**: £10.50-£15.00 per hour
