We are looking for an individual eager to support our QA team to ensure all client and server-side changes to Avakin Life and Lockwood proprietary tools are delivered according to agreed standards of quality.

You will help to ensure high-quality functional changes and content is delivered to an engaged user base by working closely with Product, Production, Development, and Content team stakeholders to identify risk to the product and the business prior to and post release.

Other responsibilities for the role include supporting testing of proprietary tools, maintaining terminology databases/ glossaries for game content, creating action plans and writing test cases while developing your understanding of software design, implementation, and integration to drive quality.

The Quality Assurance (QA) team is at the forefront of the development process.

As QA Tester you will ensure high-quality testing is delivered and major milestones met to ensure the best possible experience is delivered to users of Avakin Life and Lockwood’s proprietary tools.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with a host of different teams at Lockwood to identify and eliminate issues before integration to validate that all aspects of features and content have reached targeted quality levels
- Proactively pick up test requests from client, backend, tools, and art teams
- Effectively analyse and create action plans to identify risk areas based on information provided in test requests
- Analyse, report, and escalate user-impact and high-risk issues
- Create and maintain high quality reports in our bug-tracking database based on department standards
- Create and maintain test cases based on department standards
- Execute edge case test scenarios and potential for knock-ons in related areas
- Support testing of new features from production to post-release
- Effectively communicate between QA and Lockwood’s development and production teams
- Organise and review tasks by internal and outsource test teams
- Work in tandem with core QA disciplines; Functional, Content, Live Ops, and Tools
- Participate in and relay relevant QA updates to stakeholders in daily meetings

**Requirements**:
Essential
- Strong understanding of QA testing concepts and processes
- Strong ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Keen eye and ear for detail
- Excellent written and verbal English skills

Desirable
- Experience with PC/ web/ console testing
- Experience working on Live Service, Free-to-Play, social titles
- Interest in key platforms Android/ iOS/ Amazon/ Windows/ Mac
