**Purpose of role**:_ _
A key role within Brand Communication, responsible for assisting the Cost Manager in the management of 7 cost centres. PO raising and report building for teams and Finance Business Partner.

**What You’ll Do**:
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Responsible for raising Purchase Orders, working with the SoftCo system to capture all necessary data.
- Strictly attentive to detail and gain in-depth knowledge of expenditure by project.
- Manage and maintain the cost report by documenting all information. Valuable information for building reports.
- Build weekly, monthly and quarterly excel reporting expenditure to the Cost Manager.
- Attend relevant team meetings to review progress and identify future goals for yourself and the department.
- Reports; review spend vs budgets, discrepancy and variance. Reports to be shared with Project Executives and Finance BP for discussion and review.
- Support in the growth and development of the Brand Comms department. Looking for opportunities and solutions to move processes forward with a flexible approach.
- Develop solid working relationships with all key stakeholders that feed into the Finance process. Seek out effective ways of working, for all parties.
- Carry out general administration, as required.

**What You’ll Bring**

- Highly organised, detail-oriented, possessing the ability to effectively prioritise projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines set by management.
- 3+ years experience in excel reporting or have a finance office background.
- Effective planning and organisation skills, ability to prioritize various tasks, plan and schedule tasks efficiently for self and team and work within agreed timescales.
- Great attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview.
- Proven ability in handling sensitive matters whilst ensuring all Primark information remains confidential to the business.
- Be a collaborative partner with good interpersonal/communication skills, while demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence and possess the ability to push back with professionalism. Proven ability in developing effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Operates with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, tact and professionalism.
- Effective and persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business.
