WorkwithYork are looking to recruit Refuse Collectors to work on a temporary, full time basis (37 hours a week) till mid June 2023.

The role requires you to:
a) be able to provide two references from previous employers. one of which needs to be your most recent employer. Please make sure that your referees know you are applying.

b) be available for an induction within the next 10 days and to start immediately after your induction.

Pay rate for a Refuse Collector is £11.13 per hour.

No previous waste loading experience is needed as training will be given for a Refuse Collector but you MUST:

- collect household and garden waste emptying wheelie bins and recycling boxes
- walk long distances on the round (10/12 miles a day)
- carry out lifting and bending
- be reliable and work outside in all weathers
- work between 7am - 3pm (Monday - Friday)
- be polite and offer good customer service to the public

Successful applicants will be required to attend an onsite induction before starting work.
