An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of a full time Dental Receptionist to work within our private dental clinic in the heart of Petersfield.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, flexible and conscientious individual to be a part of a busy and growing team.

We are an independent, fully private, computerised practice and we pride ourselves on fantastic customer service.

The post holder will be responsible for providing dental receptionist support to assist with our organisation, support and smooth running of our practice. The post holder will be a key person working within a team of clinicians, being the first point of contact for patients, providing a warm, courteous and professional welcome.

What we ask of you:

- Be comfortable delivering high levels of customer service and patient care.
- Have a positive work ethic and enjoy being a team player.
- Excellent language skills in spoken and written English.
- Ideally, experience of using the SOE Exact system but not essential.
- Be willing to occasionally cover our other site in Waterlooville.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organized
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and scanners
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week
