Poultry Processor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Processor to join our team. As a Processor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of food products. This is a vital role in our food production process, as you will play a key role in maintaining quality and safety standards.

**Duties**:
Separating organs and glands, such as sweetbreads,

livers, hearts and spleens, from poultry carcasses.

Packing boned and sliced meat into cartons. Inspecting

and grading poultry for size and quality packing.

Operating machines which slice, peel, skin and crumb.

Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas.

Maximising the yield of the product and minimising waste

to ensure production is as efficient as possible.

**Requirements**:

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating ingredient quantities
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience in food production or processing is preferred
- Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,500.00-£28,957.88 per year
