D&o Broker

Aon is currently recruiting a Broker to join the D&O team, which forms part of the wider Crisis Management practice within our Global Broking Centre, on a 12 month fixed term contract.

In this role you will be responsible for co-ordinating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of D&O business within the Lloyd’s and Company Markets on a day-to-day basis.

**What the day will look like**:

- Review Submission
- Lead quote broking / Follow market broking
- Present terms to client / network
- Record broking activity in market sheets
- Review draft / final MRC
- Send Cover confirmation to client/network
- Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
- Client meetings
- Respond to A/C queries
- Establish and manage pipeline
- working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:

- Previous experience gained within the insurance industry at either a Broker or Insurer
- Familiarity with insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service, preferably with some exposure to electronic placements
- Experience of managing effective client relationships
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
- Ability to work well independently, as well as part of a team
