Baltic Apprenticeships are working with our client based in Blackburn, they are on the lookout for an IT Apprentice to join their rapidly growing team. Offering a £16,770 salary, events and parties twice a year, your own laptop/tablet and much more. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual looking to begin a career in IT

As an apprentice you will be fully immersed in the exciting world of IT, you will be tasked with creating tickets via Team and updating and amending statuses, configuring both hardware and software such as CCTV cameras and PCs, conducting password resets and troubleshooting IT issues and much more. Throughout your journey you will be supported closely by the IT manager and the wider IT team. As well as the in-house support you will also work alongside a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships to provide you with industry expert knowledge throughout your apprenticeship

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

**A Typical Day in the Job**:

- Creating tickets via team and correctly updating and amending statuses depending on the job and inline with the business SLA times
- Supporting both customers and field engineers on the support desk while also offering internal IT support in the office
- Working within the office in the control room
- Working with systems such as Office 365, team and cloud the businesses own cloud based software
- Configuring hardware such as CCTV cameras APPS and PC's to the customer needs but also installing software to peoples PCs
- Conducting password resets and troubleshooting IT issues
- Working on the cloud virtually for both software and hardware issues to support customers

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:

- £16,770 per annum
- Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

**Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge**:

- A passion for IT
- Willingness to learn new technologies within the business
- Driven to do well
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Grade 5/C in GCSE English and Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths
