Research Internship

**The role**:
The role would ideally suit someone in Higher Education studying a related field (ie horticulture) wishing to gain some work or research experience.

An internship opportunity to support the existing Research Department in looking for ways to increase our understanding of developing wildflower spaces which underpins product development and the delivery of customer advice.
- Work directly with the Head of Research to deliver a variety of research projects.
- Work with production staff as necessary to oversee outside research beds and polytunnel trials.
- Communicate research findings and updates across the company as required through written reports, internal comms and presentations.

**Skills and competencies required**:

- Interest or experience with Wildflowers and seeds.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and deliver results with mínimal supervision
- Hands on approach - will be required to do laboratory and field work.
- Thorough and detailed mind and strong interest in research.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £15,000.00-£19,500.00 per year
