**Factory Trainer**

**Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30**

(Cranswick Country Foods, Preston, HU12 8TB)

Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with revenue of over £2 Billion. We produce and supply premium food to high profile UK grocery retailers, the food service sector and other UK and global customers)

**Main duties include (but not limited to)**
- Ensure that all employees are compliant to work in the food production environment by analysing skills gaps on the IT systems in place
- Updating skills matrix and certification of training completed by all employees, ensuring that all information enterest is correct
- Working on a day-to-day basis on all four training systems to support Dept. Managers/Trainers, HR and Training with a live training matrix to give precise and up to date completion of training
- Assume responsibility for the management of activities which ensure food safety, integrity, legality and quality and attend required training to keep in line with current legislation.
- Book and manage internal/external training to meet business needs and development of employees
- Design, construct and structure training/learning resources to meet a variety of needs
- Carry out activities with full awareness of their impact on the environment, both in terms of people and the local area.
- Actively collaborate with department heads and supervisors to understand specific training requirements and deliver classroom/shopfloor training for all employees

**Requirements, experience and person specification**
- Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills
- Experience within a factory setting would be desirable
- Ability to speak an additional language (to English) would be desirable
