Catering Assistant

**We are looking for 3 Catering Assistants at Heolddu Comprehensive School Bargoed.**

Are you a team player who enjoys preparing and serving meals, loves working with children, is flexible and approachable?

**The roles are permanent, part-time working 5, 10 or 12.5 hours per week. That’s 1, 2 or 2.5 hours daily, Monday to Friday during term time only (38 weeks a year).**

**We pay an attractive salary of £12 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.**

**For the role, we ask that you have**:

- Level 2 Food Safety or be willing to undertake and achieve the qualification within 3 months in the role.
- A general understanding of the role in order to meet the needs of this vital service.
- An ability to work at various sites throughout the borough when required, to meet the needs of the service.
- If you do not hold a Level 2 Award in Food Safety and Hygiene in catering, we hope you will be prepared to receive food safety awareness training and other appropriate courses relevant to the post.
