We currently have a vacancy for a commercial assistant our team in Hertford. The position is a part-time role with hybrid working.
Mission
As a member of the commercial team, the Commercial Assistant acts as the customer's main point of contact, regarding the sales order management process, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Provides clear direction to sales administrators, enabling efficient processing of customer orders. Works closely with the sales team and planner to provide accurate sales demand forecasting, along with reviewing and challenging the GM2 contribution on orders, maximising GM growth and customer profitability.
Principal Accountabilities- Assist the principal management team in setting up new products and maintaining data & product documentation for established products.- Act as point of contact between the principal management team and the SHEQ department for coding of products and any necessary product updates- Act as point of contact between the principal management team and the supply chain team for set up of products at release level, and ensure set up on data management systems (CRM + portal)- Under direction of the principal management team, ensure timely upload of pricing files into data management systems (ERP + portal)- Gather information/documentation from suppliers as required such as regulatory information, TDSs, SDSs and so on- Under direction of the sales team, maintain and update quarterly core customer price lists on ERP.- Maintain all product data and pricing on data management systems (CRM + portal), and act as primary contact point for the UK personal care business with the Azelis customer portal development team. Within this, ensure accurate maintenance of all customer data (e.g. contacts) within CRM.- Assist the sales team in setting up new customers, managing the new customer set up process from initial request through to population of CRM and providing access to the customer portal.- In relation to CRM and the portal, provide training to the team and new starters as required and take the lead in establishing effective means by which customer quotes can be entered through both channels.- Maintain Principal information on the UK PC customer portal (name, images, and blurb to be provided by EMEA Marketing Manager or PMs)- Facilitate upload of articles onto the UK PC customer portal according to brand guidelines (image selection, copy, links, and article format to be provided by EMEA Marketing Manager or PMs). Share with the team.
