**Job Description - Counsellor / Therapist - ADDICTION**

**Location - Luton**

**Hours - Bank hours**

**Salary - £13 - £14.50 an hour**

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high quality therapeutic support to substance misusing clients. We’re looking for someone to join our team.

Your duties would consist of contributing to assessments of clients within agreed timescales, deliver therapeutic support through group-work sessions and one to one interventions and counsel individuals about their substance use.

**Essential**
- Experience of direct work with substance misusing clients
- Level 4 or higher qualification in Counselling or equivalent
- Experience of developing and delivering therapeutic support programmes
- Two years UK experience of direct client work

**Job Types**: Permanent, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £13.00-£14.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Substance Misusing Client: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 4 or higher qualification in Counselling or equivalent (required)

- United Kingdom (required)
