Akton recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Youth Practitioner to join the team at Hackney.
Job Role - Youth Practitioner
Haringey Youth Service provides universal and targeted support for young people aged 11-19 years old (up to 25 years old where there is a specific additional need or disability) and their families in partnership with multi-agency services.
The youth service includes a universal youth work offer delivered from Bruce Grove and Wood Green localities, targeted youth support providing whole family assessment/intervention and a raising participation age team supporting young people into education,training and employment. Haringey Youth Service is part of the Early Help, Prevention and Special Educational Needs & Disability Division.
'Early Help' means supporting communities and families to prevent and reduce need at the earliest stage, taking action as soon as possible to tackle emerging issues, where there is a risk of a person developing problems.
About The Role (Youth Worker) Haringey Youth Service is looking for an experienced, skilled and knowledgeable Youth Worker to support the safe and high quality face-to-face delivery of open access sessions for young people alongside the youth work team. Theopen access sessions are delivered Monday to Friday between the hours of 1:30pm - 8:30pm from Bruce Grove and Wood Green localities.
