Hardware Support Engineer

A leading Bank are currently looking for a Hardware support engineer to join the team on a 12 month contract. You should be a strong support engineer and advocate for the Hardware Support function, able to communicate with all levels of business users, seniormembers of staff and IT Managers.

This role will be based 5 days per week in the office near Euston Square station. Some weekend work will be required (1 weekend a month) at time and a half on a Saturday and Double time on a Sunday.

**Responsibilities**:

- Onboard New Joiners and carryout ad-hoc desk moves as and when required
- Provide 1st -2nd Line Support with all Hardware related issues
- Provide Mobile Device setup/support
- Carryout Desk moves (intraday and OOHS)

**Knowledge/Experience required**:

- Previous experience in a Banking environment
- Windows 10 desktop support knowledge
- Experience of HP & Lenovo Desktop/Laptop hardware and VDI environment
- Experience of Building devices using PXE boot and USB imaging services
- Knowledge of using Microsoft SCCM Console is desirable
- Knowledge of using ServiceNow ticket system is highly desirable
- Experience in supporting Office 365
- Experience of mobile device support including iPhones and iPads
- Good Communication skills, both oral and written.
- A desire to make things better.
- Capable of working under mínimal supervision and to manage workload proactively.
- The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
