RYS Hair and Beauty in Chelsea is recruiting We have a new positions for **full -time position 5 days a week, available within our Chelsea team for an experienced Salon Assistant and Reception / Front of House cover.** You will be working alongside a close team of professionals to make sure every client/customer has the perfect complete experience from the moment the time they visit the salon and leave feeling a million dollar

We believe in putting the needs of our customers first and exceeding their expectations through technical and professional excellence, personalised care and attention to detail. You also have to be aware of trends and be passionate about hairdressing and customer service.

**Salon Hours**: 9:30am
- 5:30pm Mondays and 9:30am-7:00pm Tuesday-Saturdays

**Shift Hours**: 9:00am-6:00pm and 10:00am-7:00pm

**Salon open days: Monday to Saturday**

Flexibility of working days and hours in the week will be required to cover staff holiday and sickness

**Key Responsibilities for Receptionist**
- Maintaining the highest level of organisation and cleanliness on the salon floor at all times. It is important to note that there is cleaning duties involved.
- Preparing clients for their services
- Assisting on the floor sharing salon assistant responsibilities of shampooing and doing treatments for clients and giving them an amazing service at the backwash on busy days
- Offering and organising hot and cold beverages (Barista / coffee training will be provided)
- Up selling of hair care products and treatments at the backwash
- Covering Reception / FOH booking
- Responsible for achieving set targets and all other defined KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) within the Salon and support the wider team to reach these.
- Build and maintain relationships with external brands and to drive and maximise marketing opportunities.
- Ensure stock is maintained to a high standard and all stock treated with respect.
- Meeting and greeting guests upon arrival.
- Managing bookings with the team to ensure appointments run to time and clients are kept informed.
- Up-selling and cross-selling services and products.
- Promote a positive work environment by maintaining a respectful workplace.

**Key Responsibilities for Experienced Salon Assistant**

Daily duties will include supporting the styling and colour team, shampooing hair offering hair treatments and head massage the RYS way. Maintaining the presentation of the salon at all times.

**Salon assistant **must have **minimum 1 to 2 years hairdressing experience **with shampoo experience to support the styling team.

- Maintain and manage the salon floor and general cleaning duties
- Willing to be receive barista training for serving different types of coffees

- Excellent timekeeping and positive work ethics

**Salary**: £10.00-£13.50 per hour
