**Job Title**:Domestic Cleaner

**Location**: Alton Health Centre, GU34 2QX

**Shift Pattern**:Monday
- Friday 6am-8:30am

**Pay**:£11.45 per hour

NHS Property Services partner with customers to enable excellent patient care by acting as a trusted advisor to the NHS and by providing the best estate solutions. They manage 2,700 properties with 6,300 customers across England, which accounts for approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Their properties range from listed buildings to new integrated care centres and include hospitals, GP practices and offices. **What you’ll be responsible for**:

- Assist in general cleaning of the hospital wards and other clinical areas.
- Ensure infection control policies are adhered to which ensures we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Responsible for the safe use of cleaning equipment
- The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above._

- Experience in a domestic/ similar role
- Excellent customer service

**Duties**:

- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Wipe down surfaces and remove stains
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Strong time management skills to prioritize cleaning duties
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods of time
