We are seeking for Consultant Stroke Medicine to join our team of health care professionals

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and coordinate the delivery of stroke services within the hospital, including acute stroke care, stroke rehabilitation, and secondary stroke prevention.
- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with acute stroke, transient ischemic attack (TIA), and other cerebrovascular conditions.
- Oversee the management of acute stroke patients in the hyperacute stroke unit (HASU), ensuring timely access to thrombolysis, thrombectomy, and other acute interventions.
- Conduct comprehensive stroke assessments, including neurological examination, imaging studies, and vascular investigations, to guide treatment decisions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of stroke patients, including medication management, rehabilitation goals, and discharge planning.

Lead and participate in multidisciplinary stroke team meetings, case conferences, and clinical audits to review patient care and improve service quality

**Must have-**

Valid GMC registration

Valid Degree from Recognised institute

Completion of specialist training is desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £110.00-£140.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
