**Job Title**: Senior Insurance Claims Handler

**Location**: Kidlington, Oxford with remote working available

County Insurance Services provide an extensive range of bespoke insurance policies for businesses and private clients. We pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with and have a diverse workforce. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Insurance Claims Handler to join our independent and family run insurance brokers. As the senior member of our claims team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of insurance claims ranging from motor fleet to liability and more.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Review and assess insurance claims to determine coverage and liability
Investigate and gather evidence to support claims decisions
Negotiate with claimants, insurers and others to reach settlements
Ensure all claims are handled in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to FCA guidelines and procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims activities
Mentor and provide guidance to other claims handlers
Collaborate across our business with others to to resolve disputes and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

**Role Requirements**:
At least 5 years of experience handling insurance claims, with a proven track record of success
Strong knowledge of insurance policies and procedures, as well as relevant rules and regulations
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple claims and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
