Seasonal Ecologist

This is a **home based** position for applicants in **South East England **(around the **West Sussex / East Essex / Kent boarders**).

This role is full of variety and our Ecology business comprises a highly skilled team focused on providing services to a wide range of clients, particularly developers, utility companies and the renewable energy and rural industries.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out a range of ecological surveys (skills dependent) and assist senior colleagues with other surveys to develop skill set
- Carry out desk studies, consultations, research, data management and analysis, and report writing
- Deliver work as efficiently as possible in order to meet agreed timescales and quality standards

**Person Specification**
- Enthusiastic individual keen to develop an ecology career
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle*
- Someone open to flexible working with regard to type of work, timing and location with night and weekend working as and when required
- Experience with European Protected Species survey work (not essential)

**Salary and Benefits**
- £21,673.60 per annum (full-time equivalent) plus a £1,000 performance related bonus on completion of the contract period
