The Language Assistant’s role is primarily to support the Spanish department and their work with pupils. This includes helping develop pupils’ skills in general conversation, working on accurate pronunciation, fluency and idiom. The Language Assistant will also help deliver sessions on target language culture, and aid with reinforcement of topics seen in class.

The Language Assistant must be a native level Spanish speaker. Experience of teaching a language with either young people or adults is desirable.

**Salary**: Competitive and in line with British Council

The role is term-time only (34 weeks), and is part-time: 18 hours per week.

Interviews including an observed lesson with pupils will take place on Friday 17 May 2024.

St Paul’s is a selective Independent Day School for boys aged 13-18, occupying a superb 45-acre site on the south bank of the Thames, west of Hammersmith Bridge. St Paul’s School excels academically at both A level and GCSE, with some of the highest national scores, but it is the work beyond the curriculum that excites both students and teachers alike.
