Reed are recruiting for our highly reputable company based in Elland for an immediate start.

This is a new business sales role for our water services business within the UK Brokerage Team. They are looking for someone with 1-2 years sales experience with a strong foundation in B2B who wants to further their career.

**Starting Salary: 25K**

**Benefits: 10% commission, company car**

**Hybrid working**

**Job Description:**
- Organise and manage yourself to produce a productive and effective output of data and appointments via bold and cold calling
- Outbound phone calls to potential customers to promote company products and services in line with customer requirements
- Sell services over the phone and arrange face to face meetings with potential customers to ensure achievement of sales targets
- Recognise and seek opportunities to up/cross sell additional products and services that the business offers
- Pro-actively build, manage and maintain relationships with clients via face-to-face meetings
- Operate and effectively manage our CRM database with all customer contact and information ensuring accurate records are maintained
- Keep abreast of developments within the water and utility services markets, provide accurate market information to clients and share new industry knowledge with colleagues.
- Research and prepare information for prospect meetings to identify their requirements in order to assist with closing the sale
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies, and adhere to codes of conduct
- Review your own sales performance, ensuring yours and the company’s targets are met or exceeded
- Attend external seminars and conferences as and when required
- Participate in on-going training and development, regular performance reviews and monthly one to ones
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the company
- Adhere to Company and department standards, policies and procedures to attain and maintain the required competency level to perform the role and, in particular, to promote a culture where customers are treated fairly, with openness and honesty
- Understand the health, safety, environmental & associated legal requirements that are relevant to our work and comply with these.Actively promote issues regarding health, safety & the environment

You must ensure strong relationships are maintained with colleagues inside and outside of the business, including but not limited to
- New and existing customers
- Close working relationship with other members of your department
- Colleagues on all levels of seniority within the business
