**Your Responsibilities**:

- Provide guidance and support to youth in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Helping young people to understand values and build confidence through life skills like teamwork and communication.
- Mentor and encourage positive behaviour and social skills.
- Collaborate with other staff to develop a well-rounded program for youth.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Show compassion to develop lasting positive relationships, gaining trust and respect from young people.
- Promote engagement using enthusiasm and create a positive environment.
- Adhere to safeguarding, child protection, and safe working practice policies.
- Contribute to improving mental health and well-being through sport and play.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a youth program or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of special education principles and techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-20 per week

**Salary**: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
