Fund Accountant, Global Private Equity

A global Private Equity firm is seeking to add a new fund accountant to it's growing ranks. The fund accounting team oversees the financial and investor reporting obligations for the Firm's main funds and co-investment funds. You could be a newly/recentlyqualified accountant from audit or already have Private Equity fund accounting experience. This role could offer sponsorship for the right person.
**The Role**:
- Review Fund NAV packages prepared by the fund administrator
- Review quarterly financial statements, notes disclosures and supporting schedules prepared by the fund administrator
- Review partner capital statements prepared by the fund administrator
- Provide support for the annual fund audits with a big 4 accounting firm
- Prepare support schedules for the quarterly tax estimates and filings with tax and external advisors
- Compile, analyse and prepare Funds financial data and operating metrics for recurring and ad-hoc management reporting and requests including the quarterly investor letters
- Support Investor Relations with recurring and ad-hoc investor reporting, due diligence questionnaires, fund raising, and ongoing requests
- Monitor the funds credit facilities, ensuring proper interest and unused fee calculations and prepare quarterly compliance reporting
- Prepare independent complex management fee and carried interest waterfall calculations and reconcile to the fund administrator's calculations
**Requirements**:
- You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Have experience in Private Equity fund accounting, either from the industry, audit or fund administration
- Alternatively, be a newly/recently qualified accountant from audit with the desire to learn new skills
- Have excellent academic qualifications and be a well rounded communicator
