Purchasing Apprentice

Apprentice Team Ltd are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in an entry level position into purchasing and procurement The Company you will be joining is a leading manufacturer, supplier and installer of automatic pedestrian door systems, with over 50 years of industry expertise. You will be working with a small, friendly and helpful Team whilst completing your apprenticeship qualification. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a long and successful career in purchasing and procurement as you will be gaining vital hands on experience as well as working towards your Level 3 - Procurement and Supply Assistant and Level 3 CIPS qualifications. This is a small Team where everyone pulls together, so they are looking for the right person to join their work ‘family’ The types of duties you can expect are:

- To raise purchase orders for the Company on their CRM system.
- To enter order acknowledgements onto their CRM system.
- To allocate stock items into ‘bills of materials’.
- To create new part listings on their CRM system.
- To assist with inputting stock figures from stock take reports.
- To resolve invoice queries with the Accounts Department.
- Working with the Purchasing Team on ‘supplier management’.
- Working with the Purchasing Team on cost saving projects.

**Qualifications**
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A* - C (9 - 4)) desirable

**TRAINING TO BE PROVIDED**

Full day to day training will be provided by the employer.

**Salary**: £4.81 per hour
