We are new opening soon large buffet restaurant with a world wide range of dishes in Nottingham Center.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Preparing and cooking a range of Tandoori and curry dishes, including naan bread, kebabs, tikkas, and other meat and vegetable dishes in a Tandoor oven.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to the restaurant's standards.
- Manage and maintain the tandoori oven, ensuring that it is clean and in good working order.
- Develop and create new recipes and dishes for the restaurant's menu.
- Work closely with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared on time and to the highest standard.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on tandoori cooking techniques and procedures.
- Ensure that all food items are stored and handled correctly, in compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor food supplies and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working as a tandoori and curry chef.
- Credible reference may be considered.
- Thorough knowledge of tandoori and curry cooking techniques and methods
- Knowledge of various Indian spices and ingredients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
