**Monday-Friday (occasionally Tuesday-Saturday)**
**10 hour working days**

Responsibilities include:

- General housekeeping duties, with great attention to detail
- Ensure all rooms, bathrooms and common areas are clean, tidy and well-maintained
- Handle cleaning and maintenance of delicate surfaces and valuable items with utmost care
- Maintain an organised laundry area and storage for clothing and linens
- Ensure the availability of clean and neatly folded linens and towels at all times
- Assist in maintaining an organised environment throughout the household
- Support in inventory management and stock control of cleaning supplies, toiletries and household essentials
- Collaborate with other household staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years experience working with private families
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper/Laundress in a private household
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Knowledge of different fabrics, their care requirements and handling techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and willing to take feedback
- Discretion and respect for the privacy of the residents
- Hotel experience in a housekeeping role is preferable
