Specialist Dietitian

**Do you have an interest in neurosciences and older peoples medicine? Could you work as part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to improving the health of people in Tayside?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced band 5 looking to progress their career or a band 6 with relevant clinical experience and with an interest in neurosciences and medicine for the elderly to join our friendly and dynamic hospital team working between Ninewells Hospital and Royal Victoria Hospital. The post holder will be expected to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams taking a pro-active approach in the clinical care of patients, developing rehabilitation pathways and using quality improvement approaches to improve and provide evidence based patient centered care.

Excellent working relationships exist with dietetic colleagues throughout NHS Tayside via the Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service and the Tayside Nutrition Network to develop and implement evidence-based practice, receive peer support and help to progress Continuous Professional Development. There is also a commitment to training of dietetic students, medical students and other healthcare professionals.

Excellent inter-personal and communications skills and the ability to demonstrate good team working as well as being able to work autonomously are required.

You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council**.**
