We're currently looking for a Zoo Keeper to join our Mammals team at Britain’s Wildest Adventure

**About the Role**

In this role you will be working alongside gorillas, spider monkeys, squirrel monkeys, callitrichids, asiatic lions, amur tigers and various smaller carnivores amongst many more species.

Taking an active role in the day to day running of our awesome collection, this will include delivering excellent standards of animal husbandry and a fantastic guest experience. You will be part of a team creating the most stimulating environment possible - not just for our guests, but for the animals too - and since we’re big on conservation, education, and research, you’ll have a big part to play in that too by delivering memorable guest engagement and experiences.

You will also be keen to support all areas within our zoo, which will in turn benefit your own personal development. You will ensure the health & safety of yourself, visitors and guests at all times as well as develop a personal training programme in conjunction with your head of section.

**This is an ideal opportunity for a passionate and hard working individual to take their first steps into the exciting world of zoo keeping.**

**What we’re looking for**
- Although no formal qualifications or experience are required for this role, a background in exotic animal management or experience working in a dynamic and fast paced guest focussed organisation would be advantageous.
- You will be a clear and confident speaker, able to engage with the public, delivering fun and educational presentations and more importantly an alert listener, willing to learn and develop.
- You will have passion and excitement for your chosen field, with a keen drive to develop your career as an animal keeper.
- You will be a team player, with a positive, can-do attitude.

**_Applicants must be available for a virtual interview Wednesday 30th August, with successful interviewees being invited to a second stage on-site interview on Wednesday 6th September._**
