This position contributes to Starbucks success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

**Summary of Key Responsibilities**

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following behaviours:
**Achieving Results**
- Deputising in the Store Manager's absence
- Being responsible for the day-to-day running of shifts
- Playing an important role in people development, training, and coaching
- Managing inventory and stock control for the store
- Being responsible for high standards of cleanliness across the store inside and out
- Working closely with the Store Manager / ensuring that our customers get great products and friendly service from a motivated team
- Assist the Store Manager with stock control and ordering
- Assist with staff rotas in line with budgeted hours
- Supervise the team, ensuring that everyone is aware of their daily duties
- Manage deliveries and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in line with the procedure
- To prepare and serve beverages and confectionery and meet customer expectations.
- To ensure that you are always adhering to food safety procedures.
- To handle cash and accurately record customer order information.
- To resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently as they arise.
- To work within EHO, COSHH and Health and Safety Guidelines
- To maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, and work in a clean and tidy manner
- To always wear uniforms in line with company policy
- To attend relevant training courses as directed by the line manager
- All work to be carried out with a customer-focused attitude, providing excellent customer service with a proactive work ethic.
- At all times to carry out responsibilities with due regard to the GBS codes of practice on Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety and adhere to the Data Protection Act.

**Helping Others Succeed**
- Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
- Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.
- Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational methods.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- No previous experience required
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
- Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security

Location: Beckenham, BR3 1EN

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
