BDS are currently recruiting for a Damp Mould and Condensation Surveyor to work for a housing organisation working hybridly across the Darlington area.

The main purpose of the role will be too to report to our asset manager to provide technical advice, guidance and support to residents. You will also undertake investigations and inspections, and complete various surveys as required to support the delivery of all damp & mould associated repairs.

Other duties will include but are not limited too;
- Fully support the DMC team with monitoring performance to ensure compliance with delivery SLA’s, system updates and policy and procedure times frames.
- Carrying out proactive and preventative visits and inspections to mitigate against the risk of damp & mould
- Ensuring the completion of all appropriate data collection and updating electronic records as needed.
- Review and analyse the DMC, disrepair, defect and property performance information
- Design and maintain a risk and opportunities register relating to trends both customer and property data relating to DMC works/inspections.
- Work closely with Strategic Asset Management and other internal parties to gather the required information to identify opportunities to mitigate risks identified
- Work closely with all teams and other internal parties to ensure the accuracy of data

This is a 6 month contract to start ASAP.

Working hours; 8:30am
- 4:30pm working hybridly across the Darlington office, home working and travel to different areas.

Pay rate; £20.56ph PAYE/ £25.22ph Umbrella
