Mechanical Craftsperson

A vacancy has arisen for a Mechanical Craftsperson at our Waunarlwydd plant.

Applications are invited from experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our well-established engineering team.

This is a varied team-based role, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities for planned and reactive maintenance, support & development of new and more established equipment, including heavy hot and cold rolling mills, rod and plate blasting, grinding, cutting & milling processes.

Essential
- An innovative & dynamic team player.
- Qualified experience in metals or heavy industrial environment and/or machine tool maintenance.
- Minimum qualification at HNC or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- A practical hands-on background in mechanical engineering.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Desirable
- Experienced fitting, machining and welding skill set.
- Detailed expertise in hydraulics/pneumatics.
- SAP based maintenance management system.

Pay: From £34,641.36 per year
