Residential Childcare Worker

We are looking for committed individuals whom have a passion for working with looked after children under 12, who have experienced early years trauma and abuse and need adults who can manage their big emotions and show them the love, care, guidance and boundaries they need to thrive.
- Are you able to be flexible and resilient and do shift work, including sleep-ins and weekends? (Yes, we work bank holidays including Christmas day)_

You will be part of a small team of adults, supporting and parenting up to two children in a beautiful home with an experienced and dedicated management team.
Our Children have experienced significant trauma and attachment in their lives and require therapeutic parenting to help them overcome some of their difficulties and experience a childhood that is safe from harm and ensures they meet their full potential.
Our adults use PACE and a therapeutic model of parenting, including a DDP approach, you will receive full training and induction.
No previous experience is required, just eager to learn and of course you will receive full support from your management team and training.
**Responsibilities**
- Acting in a parent role, meeting the needs of the children in line with our Pace model of care.
- Being able to work 1:1 with a child.
- Being flexible, able to do shift work including a minimum of two sleep ins a week and on occasion take the children on holiday and work bank holidays.

**Full and Part-time positions** are available, however, you will need to be able to commit to sleep-ins, shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
**Salary stated includes a minimum of two sleep-ins per week with full-time hours.
32 hours will be pro-rated.

Pay: £28,300.00-£30,500.00 per year
