We are now seeking a Junior Merchandiser to join the team at CurrentBody at our award winning offices in Alderley Park,
**Responsibilities**
As Junior Merchandiser you'll be working closely with the buying teams to ensure that the collections are perfectly targeted to the customers' needs. The role will involve liaising with suppliers, planning stock packages, managing the OTB, assisting with the planning of stock levels, managing the WSSI and keeping a close eye on competitors.
Reporting to the Senior merchandiser, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our company's growth and success while being part of a dedicated team that prides itself on exceptional product knowledge and customer care.
- Manage and monitor inventory levels to optimise stock availability and reduce inventory surplus in line with business budgets
- Analyse sales figures and trends to make informed decisions regarding purchasing and merchandising.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and seek cost-saving measures when possible.
- Manage the Weekly Sales Stock and Intake planning
- General support with ad hoc commercial and merchandising projects
- Managing orders from placement to delivery
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrable experience in Merchandising, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with the desire to learn more.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- A passion for consumer goods and an entrepreneurial spirit.
