**IFA Paraplanner**
**Salary: £28k - £40k DOE + Great company benefits**
**Location: Worthing - This is an office-based position**
**Hours: Mon
- Fri 9am-5pm**
Do you want to work for a well-established and professional IFA that offers a supportive and varied role with the opportunity to progress and further study? If so, my client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Paraplanner.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supporting the financial planners to be part of the advice process.
- Liaising with financial planners to obtain appropriate investment solutions.
- Research and analysis of pension, investment, and protection products.
- Provide high quality suitability reports with strong technical knowledge across the whole of market product range.
- Obtaining APTA and TVC reports and investment profiling.
- Dealing with clients on the telephone when required.
- Liaising with Life offices, Fund Managers and Broker Consultants.
- Obtain all new business illustrations and supporting literature.
- Provide the documentation and formulisation of the client advice to support the research undertaken.
- Maintaining client files with all relevant documentation and correspondence.
- Comply with FCA and company compliance procedures.
- Diploma qualified or willingness to undertake professional study.
- Proven background within financial planning across life, pensions, and investments.
- Proven paraplanning or sales support experience within an IFA or life office environment
- Knowledge of a range of research tools: Assureweb; Selecta pension; AteB report writing software; FE Analytics.
- Great communication skills with the ability to work in a busy environment.
- Ideally a working knowledge of Defined Benefit transfers.
- Experience of platform-based work.
