Vehicle Dismantler

We are looking for an experienced dismantler/technician to join our company at our site in Pocklington.

**Responsibilities**:

- Dismantle vehicles and equipment according to established procedures
- Remove parts and components using hand and power tools
- Inspect parts for damage or wear and determine if they can be salvaged or recycled
- Sort and organize dismantled parts for inventory purposes
- Take “ok” images and make them look professional
- Loading Lorries/Containers with various vehicle parts and engines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Skills**:

- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using power tools such as drills, saws, and impact wrenches
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate dismantling and identification of parts

**Requirements**:

- You must have a UK/EU driving license (category B)
- Have your own tool (basic)
- Speak English at a conversational level
- Physically fit (due to nature of job role)

As a Dismantler, you will play a crucial role in the dismantling process of vehicles and equipment. Your mechanical knowledge and skills with power tools and hand tools will be essential in efficiently removing parts for salvage or recycling. You will need to have a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate identification of parts. This position requires physical stamina as you will be working on your feet for extended periods of time. **Salary**: £480.00-£600.00 per week
