**Job Title - Seasonal Hotel Receptionist**

**Salary - £11.50 per hour**

**Location - Scarborough**

We are working in partnership with a fantastic privately owned Scarborough Hotel that due to levels of trade are looking to recruit a seasonal receptionist to work up until November to be the face of the business. Ideally you would have hospitality experience and have worked to some degree in a similar position, but they are looking for the best fit for the business and training will be given for the role.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Dealing with guest enquiries from their rooms and front desk
- Checking in guests, handling bills and payments of the guests
- Been part of the FOH team that deliver a 1st class service.
- Handling cash and taking credit card payments
- Working varying shift patterns including 7.30am starts and 10.30pm finishes
- Undertaking any other duties as reasonable to the role and in support of department

**Requirements**:

- Hotel reception experience
- Good local knowledge
- Be computer literate with use of room reservation systems.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own on front desk.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

**Salary**: £11.50-£11.75 per hour
