We are seeking a Project Manager who will be within the Commercial and Central Functions Divisionwhere you will have end to end accountability for project delivery and the delivery of change.

**Who will you be working for?**

RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodologyfrom a variety of sectors including Logistics, Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs.

**What will you be doing?**

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Reed Professional Services team working with our clients expanding Commercial IT and Parcels team. This is a key Technology function and will be responsible for defining and delivering technologysolutions. The role will support an array of projects from Parcels inflight enhancements, return and outbound services. You will lead and manage the project delivery process working closely with internal stakeholders (at all levels) as well as external softwarepartners to ensure they deliver. This project will have specific involvement in managing one CRM system implementation to another which is in the process of being defined by the system integrators.

**Essential**:

- Proven track record of leading and managing projects specifically with the implementation of one CRM system to another from a customer perspective as opposed to vendor.
- Operates within agreed cost/time/quality parameters, has sufficient credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and relate to a highly demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base
- History of developing and maintaining internal partner relationships, with sound understanding of working with 3rd parties
- Appreciation of how all the architecture, policies and governance are applied to delivery of the project
- A direct, straightforward style, able to cut to the core quickly
- Excellent people management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment
- In-depth understanding of business, with a desire to contribute in a collaborative, team based environment, beyond the direct remit of the position.
- Knowledge and experience of both traditional and modern software/IT development lifecycles (Agile, Iterative and Waterfall)
- Knowledge and experience of working in Agile/Lean Values, Principles and Practices
- Project Experience - Whole lifecycle management (including Qualification, Concept, Feasibility and Business Case Development)
- Strong financial acumen (appreciation of cost performance assessment; Demonstrable project financial planning).

**Desirable**:

- Team Management Experience - Matrixed or Direct
- Technical Domain Experience - System integration, Building frameworks & developing API's and messaging standards
- Knowledge and experience of working in Agile/Lean teams using SCRUM, KANBAN, XP delivery process frameworks
- Knowledge and experience of Continuous Improvement
- Awareness of best practices in Product Management, Architecture/Design, Testing and DevOps which support Agile/Lean
- Microsoft Project, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management and MS Office tools
- Supplier Management Experience - Single to Multiple External Suppliers
