We are heavily involved in supporting young generations of makers and promoting sustainability within the fashion industry.

We are currently looking for Garment Maker to become a part of our team as we grow our operation, and cement ourselves as the market leader within the fashion space and sustainability

**The role**:
As a Garment Maker, you will work with our production team to develop products to the highest standard. You will be required to work on the full product development process of garments including
- draping, pattern making, sewing, sampling and production.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Interpreting garment designs
- Creating patterns from sketches, briefs and tech packs.
- Organize and maintain an efficient workstation
- Work with a variety of materials, threads, and trimmings
- Use variety of sewing production techniques and methods
- Learn how to use industrial machinery necessary for product development including skiving, splitting, inking, and assembly

**As a part of the job, you will**:

- Interpreting accessories designs
- Be responsible for developing the patterns and ensuring that the goods are produced to the intended design
- Cutting the patterns and sewing the goods
- Finishing and Assembly
- Checking and supporting the sample-making process, ensuring quality standards and measurements guidelines are met
- Reporting the need to source fabrics and trims
- Create technical sheets and drawings
- Create costings for each item
- Attend sample meetings with the client and make any amendments accordingly
- A good eye for detail and the highest standards for quality
- An ability to work independently and follow directions from the team
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in garment construction and sewing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
