Full Time, 37 hours per week, temporary posts**.**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Councils’ Network Management Team with 3 new apprentice posts based across Highways Assets and Drainage.

This is a multi-skilled technical environment that provides Highway and drainage repairs and maintenance.

**One apprentice post will be within our Drainage Delivery Team** and will assist with carrying out cyclical maintenance and excavation repairs including installing new drainage assets.

This is a Technical Apprentice position which is temporary for 2 years and is available within the Highway Drainage team.

**We have two apprentice positions in the Highways Asset Team** where you will become involved in various aspects of Highway network management. This will include Highway maintenance schemes design process, Highway Adoption process, Customer reporting, Highway surveys, and General Team administration. There is an Administration Apprentice position which is temporary for 2 years and a Technical Apprentice position available which is temporary for 3 years within the Highway Assets team.

The Drainage and Highway Asset team are passionate about doing the best work for the community and protecting our borough from flood risk.

We a seeking individuals that are highly motivated, can work individually as well as part of a team and have a passion for continued development and doing the best for our communities.

All apprentice posts will have day release from work to study an ONC in Civil Engineering / construction or business administration level 3, whilst gaining the work experience within the role.

The roles will be based at Hellaby Depot, Kimberworth Depot and Head office at Riverside House in Rotherham Town centre with site-based work included.

Desirable qualifications English and Maths GCSE’S (Level 4+)
