**Civils Gang - Lead & Mate (PAYE)**

**Covering the southern region of the UK.**

**Day rate of £200 for the lead and £160 for the mate.**

We are currently working with one of the UK's leading ICP contractors who are on the market to expand. This client specialises in supporting clients with the ICP connections at large scale, They are looking to bring onboard and experienced civils gang to support them with contract wins and work load across the UK. You will need to be an experienced team and be able to demonstrate previous projects worked on.

**Duties**:

- Excavation works including service trenching.
- Operation of small highways maintenance plant and equipment
- Carry out ground surveys and locate underground services using cable avoidance tools.
- Building foundations and forming concrete bases, laying ducting, reinstating surfaces and creating inspection pits.
- Installation of EV charge points
- Multiple other duties on site.

**Requirements**:

- Proven track record of working on or adjacent to the distribution networks.
- Understanding of electrical safety rules
- NRSWA / EUSR / CSCS Cards
- Mechanical excavators / CPCS / NPORS cards
- Winch training
- towing licence
- First aid
- Knowledge of use of hydraulically operated plant and equipment
- Cable avoidance / abrasive wheel training
