**Area Sales Manager - Electrical Equipment and EV Charging**

Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Electrical Equipment and EV Charging

Industry Sector: Electrical Equipment, Enclosed Switchgear, Components, Consumer Units, Enclosures, EV Charging, Plugs, Sockets, Electrical Wholesale, Electrical Contractors and Electrical Installers

Area to be covered: North West London, North and West Home Counties and Anglia (excludes Essex)

Remuneration: £45,000 + £10,000-£12,000 bonus
Benefits: £500 per month car allowance & full benefits

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Electrical Equipment and EV Charging will involve:

- Field sales position selling a wide range of manufactured electrical equipment including, enclosed switchgear, components, consumer units, enclosures, EV charging and CEE plugs and sockets
- 80% of your time selling into electrical wholesalers
- 20% stimulating demand with electrical contractors and electrical installers
- 50% new business development (400+ accounts to target)
- 50% account management (150+ spending accounts)
- Ledger responsibility for circa £600,000, currently performing on budget
- 4-5 customer visits per day

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Electrical Equipment and EV Charging with:

- Field sales experience within the electrical sector
- Must have sold into electrical wholesale
- Ideally also created demand with electrical contractors or electrical installers
- Open on which electrical products sold
- Demonstrable track record in new business and account management
- Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
