Seafood Operative

**About us**

This role is to join the team working on the processing operation, and reports to the Snr. Cracker. You will work together to cook and prep the best crab meat in the UK.

This role offers a rare opportunity in the catering industry to work sociable hours throughout the year, with work typically following a 7am-3pm structure Tues-Fri.

The job can be casual, part-time or full-time dependent on availability and desire to work.

Got Crabs has earned it’s outstanding reputation for quality by processing 100% of served shellfish in-house. If we aren’t producing the best crab meat in the UK, then we are not doing our job.

**Job duties and responsibilities**:

- Steaming, cracking and dressing shellfish from live
- Filling and packing orders for delivery across the UK
- Record keeping
- Local deliveries to top restaurants

**Preferred experience**
- Experience in kitchens

**Preferred licence/certification**:

- Driver’s licence

**Expected shift structure**:

- Job is primarily in Prow Park, Newquay - but may require visits to the harbour and local delivery
- 8hr shift, Tuesday-Fri (Sat optional)
- 30-35hrs per week
- Overtime

**Salary range**:

- £9-£12.50 p/h
