**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- All laundry will be taken to the laundry room to be sorted.
- Laundry is to be sorted into clothes and linen piles to be washed separately, and according to the clothing labels
- All cleaning schedule documentation to be documented before the end of shifts
- All clothing and linen in the red bags are to be washed separately from other items
- All appropriate clothing and linen are to be dried in the tumble dryer prior to ironing
- Clothing is not to be returned to the residents bedrooms until after 11.00am to ensure mínimal disturbance.
- Any items of clothing that is damaged is to be brought to the attention of the Manager/Deputy Manager at the earliest opportunity
- The laundry room is to be clean and tidy at the end of the working day
- The tumble dryer is to be cleaned on a daily basis
- The iron is to be descaled weekly
- Notify the Manager or person in charge as soon as possible of your inability to report for duty and also on your return to work from all periods of absence
- Ensure the security of the Care Home is maintained at all times
- Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures within the defined timescales
- Report any defect to the Manager/Deputy Manager as soon as possible.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
