Grounds Supervisor

**Job type**:Permanent full-time position

**Hours per week**: 37.5 per week, over a flexible working contract (includes weekends)

**Location**: This role is based at GreenAcres Epping, Kiln Road, North Weald, Epping, Essex, CM16 6AD

**Job opportunity**

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Grounds Team to ensure a motivated team who complete all activities on time and to brand standards.

**Skills and qualifications**
- Ensure the Grounds team consistently promotes the highest standard of professional customer service
- All customer queries and complaints handled in a timely and compassionate manner and tracked via the operating system
- Seek out opportunities to improve the parks environmental credentials
- Ensure the Grounds team maintain the grounds to a prestige, contemporary standard
- Ensure the completion of all burial duties from an administrative, and grounds perspective
- Ensure seasonal maintenance is organised and delivered effectively and efficiently
- Ensure remain fully appraised of all Grounds project workflows
- Contribute to park sales performance through effective team delivery of all activities
- Work with the wider management team to help deliver effective customer events
- Effective calendar management to plan grounds maintenance & activity
- Conduct 121s and ensure the team are delivering on their objectives
- Support the Multi-site Grounds Manager with recruitment and retention.
- Develop the team through coaching, training, e-learning and providing external training as required
- Drive efficiencies within the operational areas to meet targets and manage costs
- Ensure colleagues are adhering to all Health and Safety procedures
- Adhere to all health and safety audit compliance
- Carry out regular health and safety maintenance checks on machinery, tree safety, boundaries, etc.
- If required and trained deliver first aid and follow the correct health and safety procedures to ensure own safety
