A leading UK Crane and Material Handling Company is looking to recruit a Fabrication Welder to be an integral part of the business due to a recent expansion of the business. This position will be based at our site in Chester. Duties to include;
- Building cut outs and being able to assemble them together.
- Building cut outs and being able to assemble them together;
- Measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting, shaping and drilling;
- Read and interpret engineering drawings;
- Fabricates components by analysing requirements; welding parts;
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
- Collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements; order supplies and gases;
- Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations;
- Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.

**Requirements**:

- Coded welder;
- Team player as well as ability to work independently;
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings;
- NVQ level education;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to problem solve
- Demonstrable experience in a similar environment;
- Must have previous experience welding (MIG or TIG) as well as prior fabrication experience.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- DEESIDE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
