VPZ are the market leading UK based specialist vape and e-cigarette retailer. We currently have over 150 stores across the UK with more store openings on the way. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our business.

The Accounts Payable Administrator will ensure that supplier invoices and costs are valid and accurate, and ensure the prompt and accurate processing of payments to suppliers.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Ensure supplier invoices are processed accurately into Sage 50, correctly allocating to the appropriate cost centre and department.
- Establish payment cycles, taking advantage of preferable terms when applicable
- Send invoices to manager or department head for approval
- Prepare weekly payment runs for approval, along with the accurate preparation of payment files
- Reconcile transactions and correct any discrepancies
- Evaluate supplier performance and make suggestions to cut costs
- Develop relationships with suppliers, and negotiate service and payment terms
- Make recommendations for improvements in the purchase to pay process.
- Audit accounts payable operations to make sure invoices and receipts are properly coded
- Good Excel skills essential
- Experience of Sage 50 would be an advantage
- Experience of working in a similar role
