Overview:
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic
**WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE**. Your duties will include washing cool boxes to supply a dispatch team with the daily need in accordance with company methods and adhering to all quality aspects that are required to be carried out in an accredited laboratory.

Element Deeside is the largest analytical chemistry laboratory within the Element Group and the market leading UK laboratory undertaking the testing of soils, waters, wastes, oils, NAPLs, ambient air, soil vapours and gases from all over the world. The laboratory undertakes high volume routine analysis as well as offering bespoke method development, technical support and hydrocarbon forensic interpretations to enhance the support we can deliver. The laboratory has an international reputation for service excellence and supports clients that require a higher level of technical expertise, reliability in data quality and seamless project management from sample collection to timely delivery of data.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a well-organised system to clean cool boxes to assist with the daily need for the dispatch team
- Ensure proper storage of the stock/chemicals in collaboration with technical staff
- Adhere to all laboratory safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for handling and transporting materials
- Assist with organising and maintaining the warehouse and storage areas in accordance with laboratory requirements
- Ensure proper storage of the stock/chemicals in collaboration with technical staff
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy Ad hoc duties including Disposal
