Credit Controller

Elev8 Group Services is recruiting a motivated, reliable and detail oriented Credit Controller with excellent time management and organisation skills. We are one of the leading truck mount access, traffic management and contract lifting companies in the UK, servicing Renewables, Telecoms, Offshore, Refineries, Ports and TV / Media. We work on some of the world’s biggest engineering projects.
**Daily Duties will include**:
- Timely allocation of Customer remittances (through factoring co. & banks) in sage and with construction industry scheme (CIS) entries, if needed.
- work closely with various departments, if required for the purpose accounting related activities.
- analysis of Customer due reports and factoring companies report, coordinate the queries from factoring company.
- Customer ledger reconciliation, sending Statement of Accounts (SOA) to customers, receiving remittance advices and CIS Statements.
- Assisting the Accountant with transactional processing duties (posting and raising invoices, book keeping etc.) in the Accounting software (Both sage and Syrinx).
- Processing of sales invoices/ Credit notes in cooperation with concerned department.
- Support intercompany balance reconciliation.
- Posting of contra payments, if any.
**Monthly tasks include**:
- Support accountant for reconciliation bank balances and factoring company balances, credit cards
- Checking PO's outstanding in Syrinx and ensure that all supplier invoices are being received and posted.
- Any additional tasks for the MIS preparation as allocated by the accountant.
**Essential Qualifications**:
A degree in accounting, finance or mathematics, is not strictly necessary, Qualification by experience (QBE) may be considered for the right profile. AAT qualification is desired for the post. Experience in Sage 50 accounting software is essential.
Basic Excel skills are needed for the role, and previous experience in finance or accounting is helpful.
**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
